What it treats

Microneedling helps improve acne scars, uneven skin texture, fine lines, and overall skin quality by stimulating your skin’s natural collagen production.

We offer three microneedling options, customized to your skin concerns

Microneedling with hyaluronic acid

Ideal for improving skin texture, fine lines, and mild acne scarring with minimal downtime.

Microneedling with PRP

Combines microneedling with your body’s own platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to support healing, enhance collagen production, and improve the appearance of scars and skin quality.

RF Microneedling

Combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen deeper in the skin, improving acne scars while also helping tighten the skin and address sagging.

Microneedling is most effective when performed as a series of treatments. Individual results vary, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Safety Considerations

Before treatment — We evaluate your skin type, skin tone, and treatment goals to select the most appropriate treatment, device, and depth. Our procedures are performed as a series, with results developing gradually over weeks to months rather than after a single visit.

Recovery and aftercare — Temporary redness, sensitivity, swelling, or skin changes are common during healing. Recovery varies by treatment and depth. You’ll receive personalized aftercare instructions, including daily sun protection with a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen as a must.

Skin tone safety — Patients with medium to deep skin tones have a higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (temporary darkening or lightening after inflammation). We tailor treatment selection, device settings, and technique to help minimize this risk and provide safe, individualized care.

Who performs your treatment — Chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments, HydraFacial, and laser hair removal are performed by our licensed aestheticians and directed by our dermatologists.

Your evaluation — We begin with an evaluation to determine which microneedling treatment is most appropriate for your skin type, concerns, and goals.

Comfort during treatment — A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to maximize comfort.

When we postpone treatment — Treatment should be postponed if you have an active skin infection, cold sore, sunburn, significant inflammation, or an open wound in the treatment area. Patients with a history of oral herpes (cold sores) may be prescribed a preventive antiviral medication when appropriate. Please inform your provider if you have this history.

What’s normal afterward — Temporary redness, swelling, sensitivity, pinpoint bleeding, and mild flaking are common and typically improve within several days, though recovery varies for each patient.

Treatment as a series — Microneedling is typically performed as a series of treatments. We monitor your progress and personalize your treatment plan to help you achieve the best possible results.

Results vary by person, and nothing is guaranteed. Your provider reviews your medications and medical history before treating. We do not perform certain elective cosmetic treatments during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Aftercare is personalized to your skin and reviewed with you at your visit.

Am I a candidate?

We confirm candidacy at your consultation, not online. Everyone's skin, history, and goals are different, so the lists shown are a starting picture.

Things that may delay, change, or rule out treatment

  • Microneedling is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and certain medical conditions or medications may require delaying treatment.

Patients with medium to deep skin tones have a higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (temporary darkening after inflammation). We tailor treatment depth, energy settings, and your pre- and post-treatment skincare to help minimize this risk.

The full candidacy review happens at your consultation. There is no obligation to proceed.

Pricing and payment

Cosmetic treatments are self-pay. Pricing depends on the treatment area and plan. Your provider reviews options and gives an estimate at your consultation.

Pricing is reviewed before any treatment begins. We accept all major cards.
